Is there any difference between a computer monitor and an LCD TV if they both have the same resolution?

I'm comparing an LCD TV and Monitor - both have the same size (28") and same resolution (1920 x 1200) and are from the same company.

The frame rate of monitors may differ. As the computer monitor maybe 5ms and the TV 8ms or more. So depending on how close you’ll be watching the screen should adjust your decision. If close a computer monitor if you going to use it for watching movie etc than go for the TV.
The TV will have a TV tuner in it, which lets you hook up to the cable in your wall. The TV may also have more inputs than the monitor. Other than this, I don’t believe there would be much other differences that would be noticeable.
For the TV you have to see if it is a 1080p or 1080i the difference is that the 1080p refreshes all lines per cycle where the 1080i only does every other line per cycle. A computer refreshes every line so it would need to be 1080p The other difference could be the refresh rate at the maximum resolution. Better monitors will have a faster refresh rate.
